I have documentation that shows that she is his wife.<br />By Jan/Feb 1801 Magdalene has married Elihu Cook. <br />The birth date range for Magdalene Brewer is sometime after Sep 1747-1750. Based on her birth year her mother is Catherine Mitchell<br />Sources for date of birth<br />1. New Jersey, Abstract of Wills, 1670-1817 states that she is under 21 year of age at the time of her father’s death. Given that statement, it would have to be sometime after Sep 1747.<br />2. Gives the Magdalene Hulse, Birth Date: 1750, Birthplace: New Jersey<br /><br />The question I have is when Adam and Catherine separated/divorced; did Magdalene stay with her dad or go with her mother? Her Mother remarried on Nov 20th 1759 to an Elisha Johnson. <br /><br />Ezekiel Hulse was born in 1760 which makes him 10 year younger than her. I cannot locate any marriage documentation for Ezekiel or anyone named Magdalene getting married in Monmouth County, New Jersey. However, on 5 Feb 1797: Ezekiel Huls and wife Magdalene sold property to Anthony Hulse [Ezekiel’s older Bother].
