Trying to find the Brower.Brewer/Brouwer connection to Moses Brinkley..can you help me?
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I cannot. I have looked for possible connections between descendants of Moses Brinkley in St. Clair Co., Illinois in the past and was unable to find any. I can only suggest that you conduct a exploration of any and all Brewers/Browers that you find in that area. I assume that you are looking for the Brewer/Brower ancestry of Jon Holtz (dec'd). I'd suggest that you start with Y-DNA tests (using FamilyTreeDNA)of male descendants of Charles M. Brinkley (1910-1983)and then to direct male descendants of his uncle Moses O. Brinkley (b.1878)he being a son of Moses Brinkley (b.1844). Moses Brinkley (b.1844) had six sons, so I would then suggest tracing the families of each forward in time to the present to look for male descendants whom you can contact and ask to take Y-DNA tests. You are looking for a Y-DNA match to Jon Holtz, and to the descendants of Adam Brouwer. Good luck.
